OK, first things first, right? You are in Paris, you have to visit the Louvre. We did just that, about 2 hours selecting to see some of our classic favorites as well a the Greek and Roman collections.

Afterwards we walked to the Pompidu museum, which unfortunately was closed for renovation (it seems that at any given time half of Europe is closed for renovation) There we visited the studio of sculptor Constantin Brancusi (very interesting). Behind the museum we ate in one of our favorite restaurants of the trip: "Le Hangar", excellent French home-style cuisine.

We of course walked a lot more, we went to Notre Dame, and in general got a feel for Paris and warmed our vacation legs. We closed off with a walk through the rue de Saint Dominique, where you may find many quaint food stores, there we acquired provisions for our night train to Berlin.
